I have just been to Buckingham Palace where Her Majesty the Queen has asked

me to form a new government and I accepted.

In David Cameron I follow in the footsteps of a great modern Prime

Minister.

Under David’s leadership the government stabilised the economy, reduced the

budget deficit and helped more people into work than ever before.

But David’s true legacy is not about the economy but about social

justice.

可是，大卫所留有的真实精粹无事关经济发展，而取决于社会发展公平。

From the introduction of same sex marriage to taking people on low wages

out of income tax altogether, David Cameron has led a one nation government and

it is in that spirit that I also plan to lead.

从容许同性结婚合法，到对中低收入群体免税个税，大卫·卡梅伦领导干部了一届“一个国家”的政府部门，我方案秉持一样的精神实质进行我的领导干部。

Because not everybody knows this but the full title of my party is the

Conservative and Unionist Party and that word unionist is very important to

It means we believe in the union, the precious, precious bond between

England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland - but it means something else that

is just as important.

It means we believe in a union not just between the nations of the United

Kingdom but between all of our citizens - every one of us - whoever we are and

means fighting against the burning injustice that if you're born poor you will

If you're black you are treated more harshly by the criminal justice system

than if you're white.

If you're a white working class boy you're less likely than anybody else in

Britain to go to university.

If you're at a state school you're less likely to reach the top professions

than if you’re educated privately.

If you're a woman you will earn less than a man.

If you suffer from mental health problems, there's not enough help to

hand.

If you're young you will find it harder than ever before to own your own

home.

But the mission to make Britain a country that works for everyone means

more than fighting these injustices. If you're from an ordinary working class

family, life is much harder than many people in Westminster realise.

殊不知，使美国变成一个为每一位老百姓服务项目的国家远远地不仅交于所述社会发展不公平作抗争。如果你来源于一个一般的工薪阶层家中，你的生活远比威斯敏斯特的许多 人所观念到的要艰苦得多。

You have a job, but you don't always have job security. You have your own

home but you worry about paying the mortgage.

给你一份工作中，但你并不是一直有工作中确保。给你自身的住宅，但你为还款借款犯愁。

You can just about manage, but you worry about the cost of living and

getting your kids into a good school.

你凑合养家糊口，另外迫不得已为生活花销和将儿女送进好大学担忧。

If you are one of those families, if you're just managing, I want to

address you directly. I know you are working around the clock, I know you're

doing your best and I know that sometimes life can be a struggle.

如果你更是那样的家中之一，如果你已经解决这种难题，那麼我想要立即对你说：因为你已经起早贪黑工作中，我明白了你已竭尽全力，因为我了解生活有时候会很艰苦。

The government I lead will be driven, not by the interests of the

privileged few but by yours. We will do everything we can to give you more

control over your lives.

我所领导干部的政府部门不容易为有着权利的极少数人的权益所制约，只是服务项目于你的权益。人们将竭尽全力，授予你大量操控自身生活的支配权。

When we take the big calls we will think not of the powerful, but you. When

we pass new laws we will listen not to the mighty, but to you.

当你需作出重特大决策时，人们不容易听从权利，只是考虑到你。当你根据新的法令时，人们不容易遵从势力，只是聆听你。

When it comes to taxes we will prioritise not the wealthy, but you. When it

comes to opportunity we won’t entrench the advantages of the fortunate few, we

will do everything we can to help anybody, whatever your background, to go as

far as your talents will take you.

在税款层面，人们不容易优先选择考虑到有钱人，只是关注你。在机遇层面，人们不容易推进少数幸运儿的优点，只是竭尽全力地协助每一个人较大 程度地充分发挥其才可以，无论其背景图怎样。

We are living through an important moment in our country's history.

人们正处在国家在历史上的一个关键時刻。

Following the referendum, we face a time of great national change. And I

know because we're Great Britain we will rise to the challenge.

全民公投过后，我们面临着一段巨大的国家变革时期。我相信，因为我们是伟大的英国，我们将迎接挑战。

As we leave the European Union we will forge a bold new positive role for

ourselves in the world and we will make Britain a country that works not for a

privileged few but for every one of us.

在英国退出欧盟期间，我们将在全球树立勇敢、崭新且积极的形象，我们将使英国成为一个不为拥有特权的少数、而是为每一位人民服务的国家。

That will be the mission of the government I lead and together we will

build a better Britain.

这将是我所领导的政府的使命，我们将联合起来，建立一个更加美好的英国。
